Fatima Khan is a British-Pakistani fine artist known for exploring themes of inequality, identity, and justice. Rooted in her heritage and global perspective, she uses art to challenge societal norms and shed light on overlooked issues. A graduate of Kingston School of Art (2020), Fatima is best known for The Female Gaze, a series featuring large-scale, vibrant representations of women that confront power dynamics and systemic inequality.

Her iconic fingerprint works, such as The Seven-Year Itch and Marilyn, symbolize individuality and collective struggle. By creating portraits from thousands of her own fingerprints, she transforms a simple mark into a metaphor for identity, resilience, and connection.

Fatima’s growing presence in the art world is reflected in her inclusion in the Howden Family Private Collection, where six pieces are held, including three owned by Filippo Guerrini-Maraldi. She was also commissioned to create work for David Howden, CEO of Hyperion Insurance Group, now displayed in his Cornubry home.

Her work has earned recognition through the Liberty Specialty Markets Art Award and was featured in Bloomberg Contemporaries in 2020, further cementing her reputation as a fearless artist.

Currently, Fatima is working on a new series of fingerprint-based pop art, blending her signature technique with bold, modern aesthetics. As a proud Pakistani female artist, her art is unapologetically provocative, addressing issues like the gender pay gap and challenging historical legacies. Fatima’s work is more than art—it is a powerful call to action.
